"The Art of More" and the exciting world of auctioning

May 24, 2016 - I was invited for the grand launch of "The Art of More" that is premiered last tuesday, 8:50pm on Sony Channel. The event is held at Salcedo Auctions - one of the known auction house in Makati for fine art, jewelry and many others.

Few hours before the grand launch of the series, we were given a sumptuous lunch, with soothing music from the band. Auction bidding is up next, the main feature that we get to experienced during the event.

We were given our "play money" to be used in the auction, where we get to bid for their fascinating displays. The whole auction bidding is indeed exciting, as we get to bid on the items that we want, another gets to bid on a much higher rate. Glad that I get to experienced this!

This is something that the series "The Art of More" is all about - the fascinating, thrilling and ruthless world of auction houses and the stories behind it is something that viewers will get to enjoy.

First seen on the Sony Channel last May 24, the original Sony production follows the story of Graham Connor (Christian Cooke) who makes his way into this exclusive world by using his connections to the antiquities black market that he was exposed to when he was exposed to as a soldier in Iraq.

Actor and executive producer Dennis Quaid also stars as the charismatic real estate shark Samuel Brukner who was a penchant for ill-gotten art. His character plays the life of the party, who uses his money for other means.

Kate Bosworth is Rozanna Whitney in the series, the daughter of the CEO of one of the two warring auction houses, who is also a leading acount executive. Despite her status, she is with insecurities that drive her to be a formidable executive in her own right.

To know more about the The Art of More, catch the series every tuesday, 8:50pm on Sony Channel.
